Advanced Searching for CINAHL on the new EBSCOhost

This 60-minute session will introduce advanced search concepts for searching CINAHL on the new EBSCOhost interface for NHS Librarians in England. In this session we will look at keyword and subject searching, use of precision (proximity) operators, combining searches in the Search History and reviewing available options to save, share, download and export search results, as well as saving, editing and downloading searches.

By the end of the session, you will be able to:

• Perform Title and Abstract & Subject searches for CINAHL on EBSCOhost
• Combine keyword (free text) and CINAHL Headings using the Search History
• Appy precision (proximity) operators to improve search results
• Export results in RIS and related formats for bibliographic software
• Save, share, download results and searches
